We were making a Booth to show fellow students videos in for our project. To make the experience better we had to have binaural sound making it so the two different speakers wee playing two different things. But I connected the speaker wires into mono instead of stereo. Im not very knowledgeable on the whole surround sound thing but, after try and try again we asked Mike and he showed us the problem and told us mono makes both speakers play the same sound so I changed it to stereo and, it worked! I had learned the difference between mono and stereo and now I have grown by that and now I wont make that mistake again.
During class I was working on something that I would call "boring". The same process of drilling a hole then putting a screw in it over, and over again. Then a Teacher asked me if I was doing anything and I said no. He then gave me a job to do for him. Then when I finished that job he gave me a new job. And so on until the period ended. Because of that I wasn't able to get my real work done. Now I know to get my original tasks done before the side jobs I'm Given or just tell them that I need to get my work done before I do anything else.
During class yesterday I was on the computer like we were supposed to be. But not doing what were supposed to be doing. I was looking at sales that were up online for cyber Monday. I couldn't help but to see these sales because they were only there for one day. Because I did this I had to do extra homework in order to make up for the time I wasted during class. Know I have learned from my mistake I will use my computer for school topics only, and will try to grow by fulfilling this goal.
During class Adam very kind to give us a whole period or two (can't remember) to Work on whatever it was we needed to work on to fix our grades. And I just kinda sat myself down in a corner, With my friends, and talked. I wasn't able to fix my grade that day wich I really needed that time. Using my time more wisely would've hugely improved my grade that day and not to mention all my friends grades and looking back now I should really set aside time so I can completely focus and get as much work done as possible. And just doing that for one period would hugely impact my productivity and I plan on trying to do this sometime soon and see how much good it does me.
In Adams class we had to graph out our initials and I did all the repetitive work to find my slopes and equations and all that, but whatI didn't know how to do was how to actually put it in desmos.com. And what did I do when I was faced with this challenge? I asked a friend He didn't know what to do but of course we ended up talking the whole day. And what I should have done was to ask Adam or Jade on what I'm suppose to do but instead I just slacked off and eventually didn't get my assignment done on time wich impacted my grade.
One day during class my teacher, Adam Gave us a math problem called, Snakes on a plane. This problem was based off of a video game called snake. At first I didn't give it much attention because The game was literally made of a few pixels so, I did other things for other classes. Then I started the problem, It was MUCH harder than I thought. I completely blew that assignment off and worked on other things in other classes that seemed to be more challenging. The skills we had to use I already somewhat knew but, I haven't exercised them in a while. I asked for help and received it from peers but Barely got it in on time. I then learned from my mistakes and learned that I should not underestimate things just by looking at them and to get my tasks done when I am told to.
On one of the first days of school We were told that in 20 minutes we would learn an insane language, Arabic. Whenever I see something written in that language I Just think it looks like Scribbles. I completely thought that I would never be able to learn to write in this language. I tried to write my name but it would always end up incorrect in some way, but I would fail, and fail. And the big mistake that I made was that I thought I had it down but then I wrote it from left to right and not from right to left. From that point I thought that I did it so good and went off talking to somebody instead of getting approval from someone who actually knew what they were doing, Adam. Then at the end of class I realized when Adam showed us all how to write our names I realized that mine was way off. Through that I was able to learn that I should ask about something if I'm not sure instead of Going off topic and doing something I wasn't supposed to. Now I have grown by knowing that I can ask the teacher whenever i need help. ميل
